While I am hoping to buy one myself, I am very interested in seeing some pictures of this fantastic knife. There aren't many photos of it on the internet anywhere so if you own one - prize it here!

Thanks a lot and best regards,

l.

I recently received my Woodlore blank in 1095 and used it a bit over the weekend. All I can say is: What a fantastic knife. In my opinion it has the perfect size and shape for hiking, bushcraft and as a general allround knife. The only problem is that I now really crave for a 3v version with scales - please somebody sell one to me and send it to europe!

I wrapped the handle with paracord and I must say it is really quite comfortable. Feathersticks, whittling, light batoning, portioning tinder-fungus, drilling, and fine work like senseless hook-like shapes - the woodlore is great for all kinds of different tasks.:thumbup:

Dan, thanks for the fast international shipping and for making this great knife,

Best regards,

Great pics - love the bushcraft work!

How many feet of paracord did you end up needing for the handle?

Dan

Hey Dan,

Thanks. I just measured the paracord I used and it is roughly 13 feet. It felt quite comfortable but I already re-wrapped it with 1.5mm thin hemp rope (inspired by the handle work of Rick Marchand) and - wow - this feels really great and I will use it like this.

Here are a couple of pics (quick ones with terrible light only rivalled by the white balance  ) :

p.s.: Please don't ask how many feet of hemp rope I have used, haha.

I have one, just with a basic OD green paracord wrap, that piggybacks on my ESEE Junglas. Nice 1095 pair. I'll snap a quick pic of the set-up next time I have it out. The thinness makes it a great piggyback knife, but there's still enough height to the handle to be secure in the hand.

love the pics - great job on the handle, woodysone.

Brummie - that's a sweet setup!

Bohinj. Nice. And great looking knife also ;)

Hey man, 10 points! Visited your country for two weeks - had a great time! Lots of history, friendly people, breathtaking scenery and good wine. Bohinj was our favourite spot - what a great place.

Best regards,

ll.
