.
Here are my two, the first is my "HOG" knife which was stripped and was given a rounded spine. The second, was the one I modified to be similar to an original SH1.

:eek:Nice Mods gang

Damm Drift Draft, That thing got some Bling. It's a Mirror!!

Not a ton done to this one yet. Just convexed the edge and darkened the handle (It is a black micarta handle).

Nothing to compare to the beauties already shown (Ban's, or Soupmonger's or Grinducci etc)

For the guys that have stripped them, does the metal look pretty good under there or does it need work after stripping? Got me thinking I might be doing some mods.

The bottom knife in the third picture down in my thread is basically untouched after stripping. It had kind of a beadblasted look to it and no grind marks. The HOG knife in the top two pictures was only buffed with a scotch brite wheel.

:D

Here's an ASH that I stripped today. I think it came out pretty good. Might leave it as it is or end up doing a satin finish on it.

That strip job turned out nice rover, and I mean that in a completely platonic, non homoerotic way. I will have to strip my ASH for sure once I beat the finish a bit more.

Tan micarta handles are my favorite too.

not really a mod, but just a refinishing job....

just put in countless manhours of work.......handpolished with mother's polish to a mirror finish.....

no sandpaper used, strictly mother's.....i am paranoid about excessive material removal....

looks much better in person...
