I think I made a poor description of what I was looking for in my last thread. I would love to see your "Pocket King". The knife you carry with you everyday or knives you carry, some carry more than one. The knife you use to cut down large trees or the one you use to open mail, they are both "Pocket Kings". Lets seem them all.

Sorry for the non CRK content but these are my two "Pocket Kings" each is a "King for a day" depending on the day:)

All of these have been carried. The starbenza the least (usually for special occasions). I was alternating between the small 21 and small insingo every day for the 4 or 5 months before thanksgiving, then I ordered the 3 large CRK's, which I've been alternating between for the past few weeks. Honestly, the 25 has seen the least pocket time of the larges. The Zaan has so much character and the large 21 is so perfect, I'm debating even keeping the 25. I'm a quality engineer in a manufacturing facility, so I use my knives probably 3 days a week on average, opening boxes and bags for audits and inspections, cutting up product samples for testing (mostly pvc/urethane films and tubing), as well as opening mail and packages outside of work.

A couple weeks before thanksgiving, my family and I were on our way home from dinner for my birthday (it was very dark), and my Dad almost hit a girl who was trying to flag down people on the highway. We stopped to help her. She had been side swiped, tearing both her bumpers off, bursting both tires on the driver's side, and spinning her car around. In the process of trying to get her car onto the shoulder, I used the small 21 that I was carrying to cut off her front bumper that was hanging off by 4 inches of bumper material. My small seb ate right through it, no problem, no edge damage.

PS. A cop eventually showed up to "help". He mostly yelled at us about being on the side of the highway and demanded that we get her broken car off the road even more (although we had gotten it as pulled over as we could). I know his main concern at that point was probably making sure nobody got hit by a car, but he was really rude and unhelpful about it. Regardless, I couldn't help thinking of this:

These are the 4 I carry most. The zaan I have had for years. The Large Regular CGG I have probably carried the most. The 25 is scuffed and I use it more now than the others. The Large 21 dog paws is newer, but I carry it when I can.

Small Insingo Micarta does everything I need for EDC. I carry it more than any of my others.

Small bocote. Tried others, had a Southard kick out the seb for a week but I HAD to have the small bocote back.

The carbon fiber small Sebenza is my go-to EDC:

That said, if the occasion calls for it (i.e. it's a dressier affair), then my Mnandi with Honduran Rosewood inlays gets the call:

^Great pics. I'm considering picking a CF Sebenza. How is the CF holding up to your EDC tasks?
