Show your Road Warrior. Who's got the crustiest, weatherbeaten, and most badass CRK?

I've been oh-ing and ah-ing over all these gorgeous CRK blades. Most of them are in pretty good condition, and obviously treated with some care and respect. I only have two years of use on my oldest Sebby, so it doesn't rate this thread (yet....if ever). I would really like to see some CRK's with some real hard use on them. Does anyone think they have the CRK that has taken the most abuse without a hiccup?

Ok I will go first (I am usually very shy) althought I know there are better "Road Warrior's" out there. After a little over 2 years of use it does not show much. As you can tell from the photo I do not really baby my knives but it hard to get a CRK to show any pain. I love this thread (way to go Kidcongo) and hope to see some real beaters.

Thanks Birdhunter! I was worried I'd get no replies, thus confirming a fear I have that as much as we all think our CRKs are 'hard use folders', no one has the gump to prove it. Its one thing the Strider and Hinderer boys have on us CRK folks, lots of posts of fellas beating the tarnation out of their knives, with no problems ( other than a little lock-rock for the striders ;) ). Anyways, you currently hold the title of Mad Max until proven otherwise! The missing pocket clip with no filler is the coup-de-grace for me!

Mad Max, me? There has got to be some hard used Sebenzas, Umnumzaan or even Mnandi's out there. Someone come take this title from me, not that I don't love it, I really just want to see some well used CRK's.

Bird that zann is a beast! I'm well on my way to trashing my one week old seb25, but its still not worthy of posting on this thread YET! Give me a month or two and then we will see...my zann looks to be the same age as yours, but I've been pretty respectful of it (it was the first high end knife I ever bought). The 25 was bought with intent as a beater, because I love the blade on my 21 micarta yet I hardly ever carry it for fear of trashing it. I have an xm18 that I use fairly often, and no matter how hard i push it it still looks new, but alas the spanto blade is more chisel than knife, and sometimes I want the 21's profile that thing really is a razor. So I'm one week in with my 25, and the non lock scale already is losing the bead blast and picking up the stonewash like patina that I'm now craving, kinda embarrassed I never let the micarta 21 get that way...your Zann is really an eye opener, starting to realize a CRK has a threshold,1st its new and perfect, then its got scratches and kind of bummed, then its all in and scuffed all over with character that gives it sole...... NICE THREAD!

I will agree, these folders do not show wear much.

I can see the wear and tear, but will need macro lense to capture it.

However there is a guy on here with a decade old sebenza, looks good but not like beaten up. Looked better than some 1 year old non CRK knives.

I have an Umnumzaan with a few years of not caring much under its belt, but really you would't know unless you saw it next to a new one. The bumps, scratches and pocket polishing jump out with something to guage it off but the knife looks sound otherwise. I suppose that is one of the many good things about a CRK is that they wear very well indeed. :)
