OK, I'm in. Some productions in the rotation. Bottom right Bladeforums 2007 Cannitler, and the NYK birds eye the most recent additions.

I only have one slippy and it is a user. My Case Small Texas Jack with it's pocket companion the Zippo(the patina has developed a lot since this photo):

Here are my user knives.

I forgot the Case small Texas Jack like the one in stingray4540's post above. It's riding comfortably in my front pocket as I type this. My only other slipjoint is a Laguiole with file work that is way too pretty to use("safe queen").

my two EDC knives (only one is a slipjoint technically) with my sometimes EDC belt knife

These are all some great looking knives. Like the looks of that Jack, Stingray. I have an old USA made Old Timer jack that I am thinking about replacing. It's work is done I think. Is that the amber bone? How do you like it overall?

Thanks! Yes, it is Cases Small Texas Jack in Amber Bone and CV. Overall, I LOVE it! I am very partial to jacks and this one is my cup of tea. I couldn't be more happy with it. The only thing is that when I first got it, I had to wash out the joint with soap and water a couple of times, then oil it to get rid of the gritty stuff inside. Once that has been taken care of, and now it has a nice dark patina, much darker than when that pic was taken, I just love it. About as close to my ideal knife as I can find. If you have any more specific questions feel free to ask.

If you are ready to retire the Old Timer, then I would highly recommend the Small Texas Jack by Case.

i haven't whittled anything as nice as that, but it has made some little doodads. a three link chain is my biggest accomplishment to date. it also worked great for doing some cuts in leather. something about those narrow blades...

  • a Buck 119
  • a Schrade 125OT
  • an old beat up zippo
  • and my sak pioneer

Im gonna buy a fixed blade mora carbon knife soon, the buck is a little
too big to carry around all the time - and I want a carbon steel fixed to carry.

Sometimes I carry my Boker large stockman instead of the sak.

Got a couple of pocket fixed blades in there, too
