I like to shave in the shower. However, a recuring problem is water leaving spots on the shaving mirror that are very difficult to remove. Can somebody suggest a mirror that resists spotting more than most?

Have you tried cleaning your shaving mirror with a product named CLR (Calcium, Limestone, Rust)? I don't think it's the water that you're having trouble with, but, rather, the unintentional "additives" in the water.

Maybe a commercial automotive glass protectant like Rain X, will let the water bead off, reducing the spots.

Get a product to remove soap scum from bathrooms. Cosco (Kirkland) makes one in a gallon bottle. Its red and has a very distinctive smell. It will last you forever. I too leave a small mirror in the shower in a mesh bag, after about a month you cant see a damned in in. You only need a drop, run it around with your fingers for 20 seconds then rinse off in the shower.
