I have recently posted a thread about the ?? of what makes a trade knife and opinions of sellers on ebay. Heres a few of my knives with no markings ,That I see similiar ones listed as Trade knives. I enjoy them rather they are or not,but here's what I make of it and would enjoy hearing others opinions.

The large dark wood handle looks to be what I think is a very well made American butcher/hunting style knife with six pins. My favorite of these . I have seen this shape called Trade knife before.

Next one looks like an bowie type blade that had been rehandled . Has the round shank. Was a very cheap find, but I enjoy the Character it has.

Next one Looks like it has a French appearance. Very well made. I especially like the bolster. It looks like a wire wrap and hammered.

Last one looks like the Prussian or German style. I was impressed with the amount of blade left on it.
