I've been reading a bit and figured I might as well post a pic of the Sheepdog. This has become my favorite mainly because of how easily and smoothly it opens and closes. Of course it's one sturdy knife as are my other Emerson knives.




I thought the new Horseman would get more pocket time because it's a trimmer package and pocket friendly.

Loving mine, smoothest flipper I own, and would not dream of selling it. This will go one day to my kid's great grandchildren it's so solid!
 
I was going to "try" to make it through November without buying a knife. Now, I don't know...... Thanks for the pictures guys. Mike

Good thing to see they're still available, been a little hard to find them lately, but seems like they're pushing them out
 
I went directly through the company. Paid a bit more, but instant gratification :D. The on-line knife shops I checked with were in backorder mode. Mike
 
That's what I thought Mike, it's been a super popular item so probably a good call on going straight through Emerson
 
Sheepdog #0353 just arrived yesterday. Very impressed! Helm passed on a good tip...use a graphite pencil to coat where the blade locks up. It's much easier to unlock now.
 
I just got one in today and I have to say I am impressed with it. The flipping action is awesome and the ergos are great. I was up in the air on the serrations but since I haven't picked up a serrated blade in a long time figured I could give them a shot.

Damn... ya know, you guys are very bad for me! Must look away... Just paid my Busse bill...

Between Emerson folders and Busse fixed blades...

... I stand smiling.

Great pics guys--I may have to get a black plain edge bowie. My 13 will be very jealous.
