shrade 150t

Could anyone tell me if shrade marked the 150t at the top of the blade rather than above the tang and at an angle on the top of the blade? I recently picked up a barn find that has a marking on the blade I have not seen before. Here is the picture link. Thanks!

Yes, it is legit. That mark was used for a short time (after the tang alligned) before it was realligned on an angle matching the thumb grooves. If you swap photos 2 & 3 they will be in the correct order.

when did they go to the tang stamp? also was it common to not stamp at all. i have both examples. of which i guess i need to make some photos of since i can find good ones of the stamps or no stamp in one case.
