I have this "Schrader Old Timer" display set and am wondering what it is worth. I am thinking of selling it on Ebay. It is in great shape. All knives are non-used and in immaculate condition. It is a 14 knife set, (the 12UH is not pictured, but in my possession). The case locks from the back. Cabinet is in immaculate condition. Please click link below....

Welcome Jerry!

Nice set of Schrades. Do the knives have all of the boxes and papers? If so which boxes? The knives are probably worth more on Ebay selling individually. Especially if the original boxes are present. Sell the display by itself. My 2 cents worth. For sure I would not try to auction off the set.

Thanks for the welcome Hal!

Unfortunately, I don't have any of the boxes or papers for the individual knives. This set was my dad's. I do remember him having a bunch of boxes for the knives but I am guessing they were all tossed after he passed away.

Did ya ever consider keepin' 'em, do you share your fathers enthusiasm for collectin'?

Do the knives have any sentimental value to you?

If all your lookin' for is the value, that's a hard thing to pin down, prices are what the market will bear and that changes constantly.

You'd be better off goin' on ebay and researchin' each knife's value and addin' them up yourself, it'd be more accurate.

You could go support Blade Forums and buy a Gold membership allowing you to sell on the Exchange subforum.

Anyway ya look at it, without pictures it's real hard to tell what any of the knives are worth, what you consider Mint could be someone else's idea of Near Mint.

If your lookin' for historical or technical info than your definately in the right place, either way Welcome to Blade Forums, by far one of the best knife sites on the web.
