im going to be honest here, i just want a quick answer and, despite my best efforts, cant get any real information reguardless of where i look. im hoping turning to the knowlage of real, live people will prove more helpful.
heres my trouble. years ago, we moved our garage and, in the foundation, i found an OLD knife with a rusted blade, looking rather pathetic. after a bit of cleaning, the stamp near the handle revealed "Shrade-Walden; N.Y. U.S.A; 137" due to the rust, im going to assume its not stainless. its a non-foldable, fixed blade with a leather cord-wrapped handle. im just curious about the general age that this knife might be. any help would be appreciated!
