I’m not a collector by nature. Knives, firearms, fly rods, all the cool things that are fun to accumulate - I decided a long time ago to only keep things that I actually use.
These are the carry knives that have stuck with me.
The Sebenza is the most versatile but it has no pocket clip, so I carry it in a CRK belt pouch. I don’t always want a visible pouch on my belt.
The mini grip is my barn and hard use knife. It rides nicely in the side leg pocket of Carhartt work pants.
The chaparral is nice and thin, very comfortable clipped inside a back pocket.
The dragonfly is actually a salt knife that I dyed. It gets boat duty, along with a fixed blade fish knife.
If I’m wearing a suit or flannel pants and don’t want to risk damaging the pockets with a clip, one of the little ones drops into a pocket.
Small collection, but I’ve got everything here I need. At least until the next great knife comes along.
