I’m not a collector by nature. Knives, firearms, fly rods, all the cool things that are fun to accumulate - I decided a long time ago to only keep things that I actually use.
These are the carry knives that have stuck with me.
The Sebenza is the most versatile but it has no pocket clip, so I carry it in a CRK belt pouch. I don’t always want a visible pouch on my belt.
The mini grip is my barn and hard use knife. It rides nicely in the side leg pocket of Carhartt work pants.
The chaparral is nice and thin, very comfortable clipped inside a back pocket.
The dragonfly is actually a salt knife that I dyed. It gets boat duty, along with a fixed blade fish knife.
If I’m wearing a suit or flannel pants and don’t want to risk damaging the pockets with a clip, one of the little ones drops into a pocket.
Small collection, but I’ve got everything here I need. At least until the next great knife comes along.

My rotation ressemble yours. I do own a lot more knives than that, but a lot are either travel souvenirs that I rarely carry, but bring back memories of time and places when I handle them, or work knives that I don't use much since I retired a year ago. I have come to term with the fact that I do not have to carry every knife I own for them to have value to me.

Like you I am also not a collector but consider myself an enthusiast, only keep what I will use and carry. Currently have 4 Fixed Blades that I'm very happy with and 6 folders with another on the way, two of those folders are an old SAK that lives in the car and a Dragonfly that my wife likes to use to open packages which lives on the kitchen counter by the mail key. I could see adding one more Fixed Blade on down the road and would like one really nice folder but won't be in a hurry.

I admire your clarity of purpose. I've been waffling back and forth between "gentlemanly" and "hard-use tactical" for.... twenty-five years or more.

I like that Davis, its a perfect gentleman's knife.
I am pairing my stuff down too, as I generally use all my knives but I have/had some that are "too nice" to use. Those will probably have to go.
