Soon, it'll be mushroom season and I was wondering if any locals in DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia region could recommend good spots to collect them. State Parks? National?

Little Bennet state park up on RT 355 in Clarksburg Maryland has some good shrooms. Lots of pines in the hills, and shady damp soil. Also, we see a lot of them in Black Hill Regonal Park in Germantown Maryland, also on Rt 355. Black Hill is a bit south of Little Bennet park, on the same road. Black Hill has a trail called the Cabin Branch trail, and it winds through very hilly heaviely wooded terrain. There's lots streams in the low areas, and the soil seems damp even in summer. Lots of shrooms.
