(Notice it's a user. A USER!!!!!! I love users. No fear scratching or dinging or GASP. . . using it.)

And Ganza? Who needs a Ganza???? (Only one missing is one custom GW from a certain wife of a certain. . . nevermind. LOL)

Nice score Dennis! I got an itch for a SH now, and I slacked on pulling the trigger recently in the exchange section. ::rolleyes: I'm looking for the same thing. A user I can use and abuse without feeling bad about dinging up a new knife. :D

Nice grab!

You realize that the SHSH was an apprentice blade that was not heat treated at all. I can tell from the grind lines and the shape of the tip. But it will make a good hammer or show piece. I'd be more than willing to take it of your hands as a display piece for handle feel purposes to visitors.

Congrats Dennis... Glad you scored one!!!

How about some more pics??? Come on, show that baby off... :D :D

About 15 words into your reply, I'm thinking, "Oh crud. I got sold a bill of goods." ROTFL

I'm so gullible.

I desperately want it to be Sat AM. I realized hte other day that I have a few big hunks'o'tree out in my back that I could try my hand throwing into. :)

This one definitely had an edge-reprofile done. No longer a asym or convex edge. But that's fine with me. I'm just tickled I found one.

One-owner knife too! The guy bot it from Jerry, picked up some lefty sheaths and the ambi kydex/nylon one and used it a few times. He said it's been in his safe for about 5 years untouched. :D

Groveling on many forums is how. Total and complete luck. A great deal, but not as good as those guys that find them at some old yard sale for $50 ea.

No pix, but I got to do something I've wanted to try for a long time.

I realized the stump-cuts for some trees we had taken down out back this spring were STILL THERE!

rolled a honker of a oak stump into the back lawn and started throwin this bad boy.

Took about 50 throws to get distance and technique (arm, not shoulder!) right. Then I was knockin em in pretty easy. About 12 feet.

Then I increased the distance to about 20 feet or so and was doing what appear (I was watching teh target - just like golf, it's about followthru) to be triples. :)

That was cool. Even the BLAAAANG of a misthrow was neat.

I was tempted at one point to get real close (3-4 feet) and a half-spin. Then I thought how far back some of those BLAAANGs went and decided that would require stitches and a trip to the ER.

Cool knife. Now it's even MORE broken in! :)

Unacceptable. Unless you can do quads, you need to send this knife to me.
