well I had to sell some of my blades to help my wife pay for my daughter"s wedding,it was hard, but something that had to be done.well I walked my daughter down the aisle last Friday night.and I am still numb from the whole thing.cant believe my little girl is moved out. boy its hard.my autistic son Evan is going around looking for sissy..all the time.anyway my wife gave me a little allowance back,i wasn"t expecting and the first thing I went after was the little bird handled kukri aunti sold me a year or two back.shuga was its name.little fighter I guess, light chopper.. glad its back home..i can start building my collection back up now.as the funds allow..should seen the smile on my face when I got it in hand..

Ditto the congrats from here also. I walked (well she walked I rolled) down the aisle a couple years back, I still sometimes wander around looking for her myself. They live relatively locally so see her often, not soooo bad.

Work on building your blade stash back up and all will be right with the world. We'll help if we can.

I sadly wasn't into these wonderful HI blades yet. Her brothers and I were and are into guns though, made a nice shotgun wedding photo, would have been even better with some nice blades, flashing in the hot sun.

Glad to hear that you are happy.
Nice of the guy, you sold it to, to sell it back to you.
I hope you can get a hold of the rest.

thanks you guys, great pictures Bawanna, and yeah it was the only hi I got back, looked for my 15" anghola my buddy sold it,its ok,there will be more.

Congrats. My little one is only 3, but I'm going to be an absolute wreck when I walk her down the aisle. The good news is that it'll be a good 40 or 50 years before I let that happen:)

I'm sure you've got everything you need but if you need any tips for scaring off potential suitors I'm your man.
I've run off a bunch both for my own daughter and even a couple friends daughters being pursued by deadbeats. I enjoys it. My proudest moment was when one actually had the guts to speak to me and wanted to know why whenever he happened to come over I was either cleaning a gun or sharpening my knife. I told him it was nothing personal, just coincidence.
My new son in law I think is still cautious and fearful but he'll do, normal hard worker and I reminded him of my answer when asked what I thought of my new son in law. All I had to say is he's alive, guess that's plenty good endorsement and one I can cancel at any given moment.
Had one fella pull up in the drive and honk his horn, damn I had a lot of fun with that one, it was a very short relationship but darned it was enjoyable. A story for another time.

thanks again everyone,i have a funny thing I just thought of,reminds me of the shotgun wedding pics, when I first met my daughters husband, they pulled up and I was settin on the front porch with my antique 2 piece j stevens arms/browning patent, 620 short barrel, 12 gauge, put it back together,he hesitated under the car port when I shucked it..my daughter started laughing..if you could have seen the look on his face,priceless..good times..

Congratulations on your little girls wedding.
Glad you got a nice khuk back.

Nice pic, Bwanna.

When my gals boyfriends first come over they get to throw tomahawks and watch the ladies, including my missus, sharpen their khuks! I just load rounds for the mortar...:)

Be well, and be well fed,
Mark

Congrats Bargs! Khuks always find their way back home. So do Daughters! Very nice photo Bawanna! Love it! My daughter finally found one with a job so I better be good to him and let him be. I brought a new girlfriend home early on a first date one time and her daddy was sitting on the porch with a shotgun. He didnt say a thing at first. He looked at his watch like I was late getting her home or something and then said "Why you early? Don't like my daughter?" He laughed shortly after but I wasn't laughing much. Ill never forget that!
