The 8" Chef and the 3.5" Paring knife are both well used, sharpened on the Sharpmaker, have the usual cosmetic issues (light scratching on handles, bolsters, blade, etc- my mother-in-law used a Scotchbrite pad on both of them, but only once) and both are in need of a good sharpening. There are no significant dings or dents in the edges, they're just dull. Both have straight edges and wavy spines (see lousy pics), which I understand is characteristic of these knives. The steel is a Wusthof Trident and has never been used.
