Not sure if this has been discussed before, but has there ever been any plans on using the stainless damascus seen on the kitchen knives on a 'speedsafe' or flipper type folder? I really love the looks and performance of the Shun kitchen knives, I have a 'Classic' chef and Kaji utility (always feel a little out of place walking into the williams & sonoma to check out kitchen knives... being a little bit of a redneck and all :D )

Think it would be cool as hell to have that damascus in a folder, particularly after seeing some of the newer models/lines a few weeks ago ('fuji' and 'edo' iirc). The newest Fuji line(?) was FREAKING awesome! I might have to get the 6'in chef's model and take over any and all prep work going on to justify getting another one ;) Thank's

I believe kershaw made a folder with damascus, i cant remember the name but it had a recurve blade and i believe it had wood scales, it could have been another company though.

Theres also the wild turkey, a gents lockback with vg-1 damascus-like blades.

You can also get the scallion, shallot, skyline and leek in damascus but its not the "stainless" damascus.
