Is there any news on the Shun Kramer collaboration which may be shared with us?

One of my pen-pals who shares an addiction to Japanese-style French-style cooking knives tried a custom Kramer with the thought that it was pretty, but wouldn't cut the way he likes chef knives to cut completely ate his words (without seasoning, either). Little endorsements like that certainly make a knifeaddict take notice.

Can't wait to see these! I bought a Shun Kaji 10" chef knife not too long ago, and it is now one of my go-to knives in the kitchen.

Sur la table shows all 5 of them in stock: chef, santoku, bread, paring, and utility.

$ 1,240 for the set. Plus $ 55 for the matching steel. It's a bargain, I tell ya!

That is absolutely fantastic! I have never seen Damascus done like that.

I would say that $1,300 for a set of trade tools is quite reasonable.
