Shuttle and Space Station sightings

I take note of the website regularly to find the viewing times for the ISS. It's become a very bright object since it has grown in size. The next day should be a good one as the shuttle catches up with the station. The shuttle looks like a small white dot chasing the ISS. The ISS is like a small manmade moon racing across the sky.

It would be neat to see them real close before they joined but I don't think that's going to happen this time. They're almost the same brightness, or at least seemed that way last night... probably depends on how the shuttle is oriented and how much surface is reflecting back to us.

I have seen the shuttle chasing the space station, while standing in my driveway. If you know when and where to look, they are easy to find because they are the only "stars" moving across your field of view at a high velocity. Very cool.
