The kiridashi is going to a bladeforums member and will be finished out with a west system epoxy soaked cord wrap in coyote brown paracord. I'm also making a matching coyote brown sheath.

Here is the first one I made with a plum brown and bleach antiqued finish.

Here's how they look after hardening and a double temper. Things must have gotten pretty hot in the kiln because I have two more now to finish up! :D

The bottom kiridashi is going to a Bladeforums member, I made a sleeker one than the first one... it is closer to the original one in red.
 
Those are sweet! I might have to pick one of those up from you, and that album is killer!!!!!!You must be from my era.

Thanks, that's a big compliment and I really appreciate it. I bet I am from your era, I think I was a freshman in college when it came out! Their new one Zeitgeist is pretty good too.

I was convinced I had seen every BA,KFU & Daniel Fairly Knives picture ever posted here on Blade!

Earlier today, IMWILSON & tower2 and I were gloating over our KFU and Backwoods treasures,and one of us---obviously me--:rolleyes: mentioned Daniel's massive StraitRazorsOnSteroids,posted a picure of one, and postulated that I wanted a DFK Ti Wharnie :cool:....

sveqs replied: had I noticed these? and much to my chagrin: nay. :o

We just gave mebbe a thousand EDCF members or so,something more to slobber/drool/ponder over!

Dimpled grips...no need for wrap/slabs....this sumbitch is so daym cool it reminds me of the old Marvin Gaye tune: 'Sexual Healing'.:D(1982;Columbia Records.)
