It's a moderate approach to a bushcraft knife. Decent, beefy blade. Squared spine (for firesteel striking). The handle shape, which is unusual, allows for control when choking up on the knife. The swell at the heel helps keep your grip when chopping. The grind strikes a nice balance between all-around usuability and typical bushcraft tasks. I bought mine as a camp knife and all-arounder, knowing that I also have smaller knives around when I need them. I prefer a hatchet for heavier tasks.
