Hi Patrick,

It certainly is a prestigious listing. I would love to attend also, but ANY dates in sept and oct and mar-may are almost all unavailable to me, as my other (full-time) job as a high school rowing coach requires regatta attendance on these weekends.

Quite a few registered, about 20 active ones IMO, I might be wrong though :)
Can't wait the show, quite a few interesting makers in the list!

I agree. If Henri Viallon had decided to attend, I surely would have mentionned him. I'm not sure but I think he's now retired. I did put some of them anyway, but you know that the big forged bowie is not a french specialty :-). And I have the complete listing if someone wants to know.

See you guys there....I BARELY made it throught security on the Channel ferry with the one knife of mine that I brought (no easy way to check luggage)
 
Hello Everyone. This is my first trip to Paris. I am looking forward to the show. After the show I'm off to Turkey for one day to check out a couple swords in a museum for a customer. I'm excited about the Paris show. It's like going to your first show. Not sure if anyone will know you and if anyone will buy knives. Very exciting. I am looking forward to some great food too. Take care.
 
I expect that with the USD where it's at, US-based makers will be highly competitive price wize. On the other hand, they'll find food and lodging horrendously expensive.
