I’ve had these blades for a bit now and decided today was the day for one of them. I added some natural canvas Micarta scales to an old Cold Steel Red River knife blank. Other than some difficulty drilling the one hole out for tubing, it went pretty smoothly. I decided to keep the handle contours fairly traditional for a Green River style blade and I’m pretty happy with the results!

This is as cool as this knife could be.
Someday I'll commission a BK17 with a Siegle rehandle. Or maybe just a Siegle interpretation of the BK17.
 
Bill, I have a Cold Steel Hudson Bay "Scalper" from that same time frame. I thought it was in 52100, but checking on line it is supposedly made from Carbon V, and being a CS product that makes more sense. Is this knife Carbon V too? John
