Side to Side Blade Play on Paramilitary 2

I have had my para2 for about 2 weeks now and have noticed minimal side to side play. I took all the screws out and re applied blue thread lock on them. It just doesn't seem to go away. I have tightened the pivot all the way also. Any help?

Send it in and let them have a look.
What is minimal?
Does it affect the way the knife Cuts? Does the lock work?
 
Some spydercos, like my endura, won't have play, but the liners are thin enough that when you push it hard enough, it induces slight bending that can mimic bladeplay. Are you sure that isn't what is going on here?

If you look where the blade meets the handle, and try to induce blade play, and if the blade tang does not really move in relation to the handle, even though the tip is moving, then that is probably it.

Also I can't think of a way to fix this, so I don't carry/buy many spydercos anymore. Stupid, I know, but it just bugs me
 
My gray sprint has side to side play. I took it apart so the warranty is voided so I just deal with it. Still love the knife
 
every para2 i ever owned had minimal side to side play.
i said this in numerous posts:)
when holding the ricasso and try to move you may not notice it but if you grab it by the tip you will!
i believe it's "normal" on this spyderco model!
the previous ones i had were a digi camo and a gray one in cts-20cp and I sold them because of it.
however, i really missed the ergos, the blade shape, it's smoothness and how fun it was to play with the compression lock so i bought another last week:D
This is the only knife i can bare with bladeplay!!
 
The good news is they make Sebenzas for people who feel this is a HUGE problem.

Of course, then you don't get the S90V, M390, CTS-20CP, CTS-XHP, and CTS-204P blades.

You can get the CPM-S35VN though.
 
I have a Spydie PM2 with 20CP blade. There is NO blade play when held by the tip or anywhere else. I guess I'm lucky. I just tried it...again.
