Sidekick for my 9

Came into some shed antlers last week and have been wanting to try them on something. I decided to make a sidekick for my 9. The 9 came with a Remora in the sheath pocket but I needed something a little pointier and a little bigger. Got this Roach Belly for about $12. Butchered the poly handle off of it and stuck this piece of antler on it. Fits the pouch sheath perfectly with enough sticking out for a good grab. These things are hair popping sharp. Next attempt on a BK14 or tweeener I think

That's a nice looking combo, and handy too. Should cover you pretty good in the woods.

Very cool idea. I love antler and am really looking forward to seeing a Becker with some.

I love the look of that. Especially when the scales are pinned in place. When you have natural handles, i think the pins/rivets really class up the whole look.

Best looking mod of a non-Becker knife I've seen on this subforum today. :D

Seriously, very nice work. I always appreciate the vision & skill it takes to turn an average looking knife into a great looking knife. Thanks for posting the pics.

Gorgeoul looking Blade Tommy, were the antler just expoxied to the tang. How was the groove made for the tang in the antler ?
