Hey all you crazy knifemakers!

Here is the latest project. I have been chipping away at this one for a while. It was forged out of 1" round 5160 with a sideways tapered tang. The slabs are Bocote and are slightly oversized and radiused to meet the tang and are attached with 2 hidden Micarta pins and one visible pin (just 'cause I can).

This will be on display at the upcoming NCCA in Mystic, CT on May 1st and 2nd. It should be a busy, exciting show. Please stop by and say hello!

Thanks for looking,

Nick

That is cool, how are the scales attached?

Thanks guys!

The handles are attached like any other pinned construction handle, just the 2 of the 3 pins don't go all the way through the wood. I left the middle pin exposed mostly to confuse people.

Cheers,

Nick
