**Sorry for the links - I couldn't get pics to post right.**
I've been meaning to test my Siegle (not sure of the model name) for quite some time; just never got around to it. I also have a Gossman PSK that I've had about a week. Love'em both!
Last week the West Texas weather took down a pecan branch in my yard, so I decided to take advantage of the opportunity:

This pecan branch is 2 1/2 inches thick. The Siegle had no problem batoning through it.
The Gossman PSK would have some trouble . . . . or so I thought:

This is the same branch - 2 1/2 inches thick - And this is PECAN, good people!
I am pleased with both knives. Can't say I'm surprised at how the Siegle performed. Many of you know Dr. Bill (WILLIAM.M on this forum) and being one of his students I've seen first hand the excellent work Bill Siegle turns out. The same goes for Scott Gossman as I own two and have tested several more with Dr. Bill. But this PSK is shorter than a dollar bill! I just thought I would give it a try and well, you see the results!
I hope y'all have enjoyed my first attempt at a review. Thanks Doc, for introducing me to an activity I would never have known about otherwise. I'm hooked!
All the best,
Rob
