I finally got my Kukri out of my head and off paper and into steel Took me a while as I have pondered the idea for years but never had the right size steel or a way to hog off all the unneeded steel. Well a trip to the steel shop and a new bandsaw this year solved that. Here is my Kukri, all 17 1/8inchs of it. The blade is 11 1/4 long from .262 5160 with flat grinds. The scales are black G10 with stainless screws. Even has a small cho filed in near the handle Don't quite know how I am gonna wrap it in Kydex yet but I will figure that out in time. May even go with a wood sheath.

Sweet. Looks great Bill!! Can you make em with different steel and slight mods?

I am pretty well stuck on 5160. I might make some changes but it depends on the details :)

You Need A Second Opinion???

Really--you Do!!!!

It's better for everyone if we test it first--before you release it into the world...

no, me.

Very traditional in shape - i really like that. You've definitely captured an essence that most western makers seem to miss. something about the angle of the spine at the dogleg... Just a phenominal piece, as usual, Bill...

I like that alot, the shape looks great, modern yet still traditional.
