SIEGLE PROTOTYPE #1 "REALITY CHECK" KNIFE TEST
Photos below are of the first impressions of the New Bill Siegle "REALITY CHECK" knife line
This is the FIRST PROTOTYPE
From Bill Siegle "Reality Check! Real knives for real users" Straight lines, no sharp edges(except the main edge of course), same heat
treat, and a comphy secure handle

Knife below it is a Grayman Mega Pounder(for size comparison)
I will test it fully this weekend and give a complete report.
It is slightly less well finished than his Standard line--but I can tell NO DIFFERENCE in laser like sharpness, cutting ability-or comfort in use.
(and I know what his knives can do-these are some of his I have tested)

So I speak from experience...
This one is a BEAST of a knife.Think CAMP TRAMP on steroids AND Growth Hormone as well.Grip is VERY COMFORTABLE--and SECURE
Specs
14in overall with an 8in blade(tip to handle).
Steel is 1/4in 5160 with black G10 scales.
Was told to expect it roughly finished--but I spent 10 minutes with a rag and some Flitz---and HOT DAMN--this pupply looks good.
Here is the BEFORE photo(from Mr.Siegle)

BUT-----------Can it cut....???
Spent about 10 minutes Testing it the day I got it(shoulder is sore from lifting) and will test it fully this coming weekend. So far---it has exceeded my expectations in all areas----Again--no difference in this one compared to the others I have tested when it comes to cutting.(edge retention appears to be the same-will confirm that this weekend))
But this model is HEAVY(like the GRAYMAN MEGA POUNDER)-
-Camping yes.Hiking-NO!!
(at least as I see it).Depends on what you want.
This would make a Great Camp knife!!!!!!!!:thumbup::thumbup:
Good news:
Mr.Siegle will be coming out other models in the REALITY LINE---
Both bigger and smaller than this model.
From Hoodlum II on down.....
Stay Tuned for more testing and photos......This coming weekend...
.I will have several patients try it and get opinions from each.
Sincerely.....
