Just got it back from Tom Krein. I wanted the butt rounded off and orange G-10 handles put on. Just in time for deer season. From the first time I got this blade I loved it. Cant wait to get out and put it to use. Hope you guys like what it looks like know. Thanks again Bill and Tom, as always you guys do super work.

ha, two SAR4, what a winner!
Personally I like the contours and bulges of the original handle, not sure about the hook, I think i could take it or leave it.
Good luck hunting!

Cool color! In regards to the mod, all that matters is "Does it work for you?". Looks like it does and that is never a bad thing :) I am diggin the shape myself as a more "civilian" use blade. The hook is there for hammering and security when wearing heavy gloves.

Great to hear from u Bill. The blade works great for me. Now like I said earlier I just cant wait to get it out in the woods and really put it to use.
