Sifu owners...

...Which handle do you prefer and why? Do you prefer the handle with the finger grooves or without? Does one provide a better grip over the other? I have not handled either model and would appreciate some feedback.

Personally, I like the fingergrooves. I can, however, foresee them being a problem for an individual with smaller hands. It will be different for every individual, but since the grooves correspond perfectly for my finger placement, I enjoy the knowledge that a potential slip is less likely to occur.

Mine is fingergrooved and I've never found them to be an issue, but I've never handled a plain one either. I kinda felt that the grooves were one of the things that made a Sifu what it is.

I love the finger grooves. They probably do work better for some hands than others, but they suit mine very nicely and they sure do provide for a secure grip.

I also like the addition of the groove for a fifth finger. The Sifu is one of the few knives where an extended grip is just as secure as a normal grip.
