sig 250 yay or nay?

NAY. Long mooshy DAO trigger makes it hard to shoot for most people and the compact model has a horrible 2 fingers on a beer can feel. The caliber exchange kits they promised for it are impossible to get and everything on it is expensive to replace. My least favorite Sig

As with any handgun, best bet is go to a range and try it along with a few other comparable guns to learn their relative merits specifically for you as the shooter. I learned I dislike SIGs that eay a d saved a bunch of money, but you may love them.

OP, are you new to shooting or an old hand that shoots revolvers often? If you shoot mostly semi-auto pistols, then I would suggest not getting the P250. It has a very smooth DAO trigger pull, best that I have ever tried on any semi-auto, but there are better triggers out there. There is no stacking at all on the trigger pull, a very nice DAO pull. If you shoot or have shot a lot of DA revolvers, then the P250 is a pretty nice transition from the revolver to semi-auto due to the similar trigger pulls. The P250 is a very accurate pistol too, and with the various grip frames, you should be able to get the pistol to fit great in your hand. I will say that the P250 is a chunky gun. It handles recoil very well.

I've read from some reliable sources that they suck. The P320 is supposed to be good though.
