What do you guys think Sig P320? Newer gun compared to the other manufacturers equivalents, glock, M&P, XD, etc. Any of you own one? Like it?

What size do you recommend? I am looking for a larger sized concealable handgun, think Glock 19/23 size. I can't decide on either the compact or carry size, seems similar.

Thanks.

Hi... the compact size is a little smaller on the glock, but i really prefer the 17.. the compacts don't have a long enough grip for me... and my 17 with the original magazines hold 20 with one in the chamber...... but i feel the full grip gives much more control!.....I recently sold my sig p226.... miss it a lot!... these are the gold standard imo......

I've read they have the some of the best striker fired triggers out there, along with the PPQ and VP9, don't know much else besides that

I really like my P320. It is a bit chunky as I have the Standard length. I would get the Compact size if I were to CCW the P320 as it offers good ammo capacity and pretty easy to conceal. The Carry's longer grip is harder to conceal. The trigger on my P320 is pretty good, but nowhere as nice as my PPQ. Better than my Glock pistols though. The P320 is also very accurate, on par with my PPQ. In 9mm, recoil is negligible. You will like the P320 if you get one.

Thanks for the feedback. I have heard others speak highly of the trigger (for a striker fire) and i did notice the slide is a little tall making it a bit bulky. If i get the compact or carry size, i can buy jus the other compact or carry lower portion for 50 bux and end up w/ two size options. As opposed to the full size or subcompact that cannot change out only the lowers... you would have to buy a whole conversion kit which is 300. I would love to hear from others that have experience with the sig p320.

I bought the Carry Tactical, then the full length slide, realized that the slide is too long for the Carry frame, and then bought a full size frame. Now I have basically a Full.

I have the carry and love it. The only striker fired trigger I like better is the PPQ and the difference is really negligible. I have 500 or so rounds thru it with zero issues. I really love that the whole trigger mechanism comes out. Makes cleaning a breeze. I like the carry version better than the compact. The gun is definitely slide heavy and the little bit of extra grip and couple extra rounds balance it out. I plan on carrying it some once my holster comes in. If you can carry a Glock compact you can carry the Sig.

Thanks guys. I just ordered a carry size. Prob take a few weeks to arrive. I agree about the carry handle size being better. Good point about the balance issue. I will prob still eventually by the compact lower. For 40 bux why not have another size and the wife might find it more comfortable.

I bought and carry the Subcompact and added a compact magaIne with adaptor and love this gun! Great shooter and easy to carry. The subcompact mag is a it small but easy to carry. Love it so much that I bought the compact also in desert brown! Waiting to to get the conversion .357 Sig to use in my subcompact! Buy it!

I love my full size. My only problem with it is I want another. I would love to buy the carry version and a subcompact conversion. Looking back, buying the carry version would have been the best move. It's more versatile.

I got my holster this morning and I decided to carry it today. It's supposed to be 90° and humid so I figured today would be a good day to test it out. I've been carrying my 43 for a while now. Going to what is basically a full-size gun is a big change. We'll see how it goes. I'll report back this evening.

Got it! I have not hit the range yet but have been dry firing it like crazy. I really like it. All the manipulation is so crisp. Mag reloads, working the action, trigger pull, trigger reset, even assembly and disassembly, feels solid. The ergonomics feel great in hand. I can't wait to go hot. What holsters have u guys gone with?

You shouldn't have an issue. The biggest annoyance for me when carrying a full size pistol IWB is driving. It can be a little uncomfortable sitting in the car with a bigger gun. You just may have to situate yourself or the seat a little differently to find a good position that isn't too bothersome.

Carried it yesterday (10hrs) and today (9 hrs) with zero issues. I did have to change to the 3 o'clock position to account for the extra grip length. The extra weight was very noticeable at first but I got used to it fairly quick. Once I upgrade my belt I don't think I'll even notice it.
