*Sigh* Want another knife already

I already have a Benchmade 710D2 and just bought a Kershaw Damascus Leek a month or two ago, but already I want other knife. Now I know what you guys mean by "hurting your wallet".

I've been thinking of another Benchmade. I really wish they'd bring the 806 back, but the 960 looks very nice. I've been eyeballing it since my 710 purchase and think it'll be my next knife.

There goes another $125 :D

Welcome to the world of knife addiction. At least you aren't addicted to $300-$1,200 custom blades.........Yet!

You might want to try getting something from a different maker. This is what I did in the early days, bought one of whatever appealed to me from a few different makers and that, I believe, helped me decide what type of knife I really liked. Nothing wrong with BM for sure, I have some myself, but there are other good ones out there too.

If you think it is bad now, just wait until you get into custom knives!!

I tried that with my Leek. No other knives really appeal to me right now, except maybe the Spyderco Military, but not near as much as the 960.

I seriously, seriously considered the 960 at one point. The look is fantastic, and I like D2. I just couldn't spend that kind of money on one single knife, though.

You were able to wait a month?

:D

$120-130 is about my limit on a single knife at the moment, I don't think $125 is too bad. I paid about $115 with shipping for my 710.

I am open to other suggestions though, but it has to be a folder for the price I mentioned above.

I don't need something overly huge and want a decent steel obviously, and I'd prefer at least SOME G10, be it inlays or whatever.

The only three companies I know of that virtually no one has anything bad to say about are Benchmade, Kershaw, and Spyderco.

Speaking of Spyderco, a very underrated knife, IMHO of course, is the Native. Have a bit of a look at it. Good sized folder, very good all round blade design and, naturally, comes with the usual Spyderco quality.

:D

Well, I was getting a Ti-Lite for sure, + another knife. I figured since I'm going to get this knife for work (the second knife), I might as well get something cheaper... So I got a Delica. Good product, good price. I still would like the 960, but I'm very happy nonetheless.

Was never a fan of the Native because of the mostly serrated blade.

I was just reminded of that by Google image searching :)

Don't like the look of it. The only Spyderco I ever liked was the Military. Something about the designs just don't mesh with me.

You've got to see it in real life, seriously! I also thought the Native was ugly. As a matter of fact, I just went to a knife shop TODAY and saw a Native.

It's not so ugly after all :D

I won't spend for than 80.00 tops on a folder. Most of my many folders were under 60.00.

Spydercos are like scotch whisky. No-one really likes them at first taste. It takes a while to get used to them, once you do there is nothing smoother.
I thought they were ugly at first, now I own 18 of them.
