Sign of Things to Come ?

Got one like it, 3 line stamp, forward nail nick, new in brown box, 2 weeks ago for $27.75, must have been the challenge of being a winner!

I saw the same auction Holy s.... anyhow told the wife if she could get that out of mine to "GETer DONE" some things or times it is just crazy!!

It has a lot to do with the brown box people including myself really go crazy for the brown wood grain box. but I wouldnt pay that for that knife thats for sure it is a little steep.- Joel

Wow, it went for over $110. One newbie was jacking up the price. Also, somebody (also relatively new) and wanted it really bad won the auction. The winner appears to like knives with little boxes and toy tractors. Good for him!

seems unreal to pay that price, anything can and will happen on e-bay, I bought one at a nearby knife show last year, the seller had the knife at a previous knife show also, I had bought several other Schrades leaving me without enough to cough up for the 194OT, at the next show I could not believe he still had the knife so I grabbed it, I say believe because of the price, check out the cover of the box.

Nice one there, Rusty! You had to consider yourself lucky it was still there at the next show given that price. Found one just like it at a flea market, talked the guy from $20 down to $10. ALMOST felt guilty....:D

Bill, I was scouting his table for a while he had a rather large spread over three tables, I could not get my hands into my pockets quick enough to get the green stuff out. pleased about that purchase I must say. :D

Dave, I felt the same way a while ago, I was looking at a 93OT the seller was asking $30 which is fantastic price any way, the knife was in excellent unused condition, except for what I thought wass rust on the inside of the spring, I talked him down to $20. When I got home to check the rust out it wasn't rust at all but a piece of fluff/lint running along the spring using a toothpick it came right out. felt a bit guilty about that one.:o

Well...

I was at a gunshow a bit ago and this old guy gave me $50 just to get those crummy old Schrades and their boxes out of his way.

NOT!!!:eek::D

You guys are my newest "Hagglin' Heroes"...:thumbup::thumbup:
