signature problems

Is there a specific image you want to display? Or did you want to have a slide show type sig?
 
The sig is to the album, I'd like to link as a slide show. I'm stuck.

Hi Mark, i tinkered with the link a little, and I am not able to get it to display as a slideshow. I'm getting "invalid format" in an error screen. If I am not mistaken, the images might need to be converted to a gif format. Hopefully, someone with a bit more amiliarity with Photobucket can chime in and see if I was missing something. I enjoyed the pictures, nice work.

So this works in the body of a message:

(At least, it currently works in preview mode.)

But doesn't display/work correctly as a signature?

To be clearer (hopefully!):

I cannot get the above link to expand as full text even in a text editor.

Here is the link I used (I've turned off "automatically parse links in text" in hopes that you can see the full text):

http://s242.photobucket.com/albums/ff214/markb41/Knives%20and%20Sheaths/?albumview=slideshow

Using the above link in your signature, bracketed by URL tags should take you directly to your slideshow, just like the current link in your signature takes you to the album format.

Is this what you're looking for, or do you want the slideshow itself to appear in your signature?

Attempting A More Elegant Solution.

More appropriate for your signature:

Slideshow of My Sheaths

(or, whatever text you prefer)

Note, both these links seem to 'work' in the body of a message-- they take me directly to a slideshow of your pictures, although the true test is if they take you and everyone else there!-- while your original attempt/link does not.

Might you be copying the wrong URL into your signature line?

I don't know what you did but I went through things again and it works now, Thanks, very much for your time and expertise. I do like your suggestion of

"Slideshow of my Knives and Sheaths" if there is a simple way.

Mark,
Copy the entire line of code at the top of this post (exactly), and paste it into your sig line. If it goes as expected, it should look exactly like the link to your slideshow that I've shown here (I'm assuming that's what you want in your sig line):

Assuming it works, I'll delete the actual link from my post here, so as to minimize any confusion over having your link in my post.
