Signature Question

Do all the Spyderco knives come with the designers signature on them? The reason I ask is because I just picked up a native 5 in Maxamet a week or two ago and it has the signature on the blade in front of the Spydie hole. But I just picked up another of the same knife with no signature. Here is a pic of the knife in question.

I posted this in the Spyderco forum on here but wasn’t sure how much traffic it got so I thought I’d throw it in here as well.

Evidently they do not all have the stamp. My Native 5, which comes from a sprint run isn't stamped.

Evidently they don't, don't have a clue as to why not all of them have the stamp. Mine doesn't if that makes you feel better.

since I made the post I’ve been sleuthing around the forums and on Spydercos website and it doesn’t show all of them with the markings. Thanks for the feedback and pic.

The maker's marks are being added as a rolling change. Older ones don't have it, newer ones do.
