^^You're right in it being like a handle from the CQC-10. A little more elongated to make up for blade length. Blade is also like the Halfmate.
 
I like it, I think it has one of the best handle, ergonomics, out of the Bowie style blades. The video was cool. Don't think I'll get it though. For my next Emerson I really want a B blade though.
 
One of these will be mine. My biggest complaint about the spectrum was the lack of swell on the blade clip. It was very flat on top. Also, the BT just wasn't doing it for me. This bad boy solves both of these and I love the look. Although, there was nothing left wanting for me on the spectrum handle, this one looks great as well as being something new. Kinda cqc 10, Roadhouse, zt 0620/630 handle, but appears to be longer and significantly more so than the zt's.
 
If I recall the handle also resembles the Azek Maud as well. EKI is also continuing the trend of a swooped/concave spine that accentuates the apex of the clip and gives that "harpoon" look. Similar to the Vindicator, Iron Dragon and Mutant. I personally love this look and feel. It gives a very natural thumb rest when using the blade choked up with thumb mid spine.
 
Long time CQC-10 handle lover; I'm all for new blade shapes on that basic grip design. Would love to see a 7-ish chisel tanto some day (hint, hint Ernie).

I like'd like this too. A mutant blade, or an 7 ish style blade, in that 10 handle would have me spending my $$$.
 
The only issue i have with this ungodly cool knife, is like all the emersons i want it. They all have there own charm. I have 25+ and want more...lol
 
I like it a lot. I have a Mini Commander and an A-100 and have been looking to add another. This might be it.
