Signatures for 'Registered Users'?

Hi friends,
I swear I've seen regular 'Registered Users' like me with signatures. I thought only pay members got a signature?
I can't for the life of me find a signature box in my profile. Am I missing something?

Its a group membership thing. Even though they may be a gold member, they have to select their user group as a Gold Member to show up gold. They will still be blue if they haven't changed it.

Some folks that have had a membership, and it expired, keep the setting for a time, others, get "custom" sigs from the owner of the site, Spark. Those tend to be a little on the sarcastic side.

Nope, you're not missing anything, just some guys wanna be blue, instead of gold.

On a side note, I never thought that the ads bothered me much until I upgraded to Gold. Now when I goto BF without logging in, I'm like, did I go to the right site? What's with the ads.. ohhh... LOGIN!
 
Some of the people you're referring to are basic members. There's a $10 per year charge for basic membership. The benefits for basic are as follows: Bare bones membership that allows avatars, signatures, limited attachments and private messaging. Does not allow selling in Exchange area http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/payments.php
 
course, you should hold out for a free remora or something :)

some people manually insert a sig every time :)
 
extremesurvival, just noticed you're from Vermont. My fil has a summer home in Morgan, you ever heard of it?
 
I also need to upgrade ....I hada Gold Membership for 1 year (won it in a giveaway on here) Now I'm back to nothing .
