Signatures on Khukris

My newly acquired World War II khukri displays some wriggly lines which look to me like Hindu writing.

Is that the signature of the maker? How do I identify a particular's khukri maker's signature?

Are those khukris with signatures more valuable than those without?

I keep on reading about "tourist" khukris. How do I know if a khukri is a tourist khukri? They all look the same to me.

Of course, the excellent ones show a finishing that is miles ahead of an ordinary khukri.

Any tips on what kind of signatures to look for when buying khukris? How does one read Hindu writings anyway?

Hi there, Golok. If your khukuri is like mine then the two characters are in the Nepali language and mean "Go Ho" for Gurkah House.

I hope somebody else can answer your other questions. Hope this is of some help to you....Dan

Hi, could anyone post a picture of the "real" Gurkha house stamp/engravement? Somebody just offered me a Khukuri and claimed it was by Gurkha house but I have no clue if that's true...
