signs of not grinding blades

Being, self-admittedly, one of the clumsiest knife-makers to remain upright. I knew there had been a change in the economy when all the fingers on my hands were unmarred by wounds.
 
My hands just would not feel normal with out a couple of burns and a few cuts.
 
I always know I need to cut my nails if I get the guitar or banjo out and have difficulty playing. That also tells me I haven't been playing enough music!
