Signs of Spring

A sure sign of Spring up here in Minnesota. This future Mom deer was at the edge of my woods and starting to go into labor just before dark. She was moving around and trying to give birth but it may have been a little bit early. At dawn she was gone and there was no evidence of a birth so she must have moved to another place in the woods.

It's that time of year, and soon the little ones will show up.
