For many years, I have been searching for a wearable forward facing light like the ones worn by the protagonists of the Silent Hill series. The game was influential on my EDC theory since I was 19 and first played SH2. I found this light a couple weeks ago... http://www.zebralight.com/H32Fw-CR123-Floody-Headlamp-Neutral-White_p_154.html

It has a very stiff pocket clip that is securely attached to my jacket through a small slit I cut in the leather with my GEC 22.

I've also looked for this type of light after seeing it in the game "the last of us", thanks for sharing CM nice light :D

I can't comment on the Silent Hill lights, but you made an excellent choice with a Zebralight...also one of their newer releases. Always a popular CPF favorite with one of my favorite UI's of most any light.

Whether you choose frosted or clear glass, 18650, 14500, 16340 Li-ion or primary equivalents...Zl offers many interesting choices, with state of the art circuitry/drivers and great regulation, and are one of my favorite production light brands.

Charlie Mike- I can't really tell, but it sorta kinda maybe looks like you're wearing a kilt. Yes?

My "around the house" pajamas... 81 Support hoody and plaid flannel bottoms.

I was looking for a angle head light with a clip on it and I came across the First Light Tomahawk. I haven't ordered one yet but probably will soon.

The site says 150+ lumens... definitely not worth the price.

I always wanted a hip mounted one as seen in the resident evil series particularly 4

I ordered the 18650 version of the same light...

150 lumens isn't bad if it has good throw. My 70 lumens pelican pm6 looks like a searchlight in the woods at night. I didn't realize the retail of those lights was $250 plus. I saw several on the bay for around $80. Maybe they're knockoffs?

Or...

You could truly prove how those games had you pissing your pants by having one such light custom made with 3x XPG S2 emitters in a copper heatsink with 1000+ OTF lumens. Call it Silent Day;).

Not sure what occasion would let you walk around with the thing unless you're a night security guard.

Wonder what the run time would be on a single 18650...

Half an hour, but you generally get more brightness(and less runtime) on 2x 18350s.

Still, if it'll be custom-made, I'd ask for 2x 18650 capacity:thumbup:. Maybe a High --> Strobe --> Medium --> Low. The strobe is just there so you can get freaky at a club or something:D.

I hate flashlights that have multiple light features, and you have to continually cycle through the on/off switch to get the one you want, and even more before you can finally turn it off. If it doesn't have a simple, basic on/off switch, I don't like it.

At least with some flashlights, the extra lighting options are accessible via a dial. That's a design improvement.
