Competition Finish <IIRC> was Busse getting a blade finished "just enough" to test on various media for R & D.
When you satin out INFI that's considerable more man hours and worn out belts <they ain't cheap> and would largely be wasteful when they were just gonna beat the hogsnot out of it for testing purposes anyways.

Some nice crosshatching is visible on the flats in a pic or two.
Last pic shows a mild grinder gremlin that's not deep at all and gives a blade that has a ton a characher already...just a bit more...ENJOY
