I've been registered on these forums for a long time as Silent. Now everyone will know who I am! Thanks Spark!:D

How did you get your name changed? When I registered for this forum I thought I had to use some sort of a code name. I would much rather use my real name. Thanks, Tom Lewis

Maybe the name changers could put their old names in their sig until people get used to the new name.
 
So Guy... What does (did) "Silent" mean? I must have asked you that before but don't remember your answer. Just curious, your actual name ain't bad either. :D
 
Silent is the name of a character I like in Glenn Cook's "Annals of the Black Company" dark fantasy series about a mercenary army. Great reading, all the company members have nicknames. Very good "brother's in arms" type fiction with swords, dark magic and wizardry thrown in. My favorite character is actually the company physician who's nickname is "Croaker", he is constantly being harrassed by the company's hedge-wizards, One-eye and Goblin. No knights in shining armor business in this series!
 
OK,guy. I mean,Guy! Pun intended. You must be the silent type,huh? Sorry, I just had to get a poke in. Good move, guy! I mean,Guy. I would not pick on you, but IG isn't available right at the moment.
