I am new to the forum and new to the idea of building my own folders either from kits or maybe one day from scratch. I noticed my sizing is very limited for Phosphor bronze bushings, but I have a much greater selection of sizes for silicon bronze. Are they interchangeable in folding knife making. I searched the threads and could not find a clear answer. When I read the descriptions of the materials online they seem interchangeable. Any help would be appreciated and if this is redundant I apologize.

Phosphor bronze bushings are harder than silicon bronze. Either are fine. Msc sales pin stock. Just bore center hole and cut of what you need.
