My dear friend's cat needs a home.

I convinced my friend to get her daughter a cat for her daughter's 1st birthday. I went to the pound with her daughter, and we picked the kitten who was most tolerant of being handled by small children.

That was four years ago. Sunnybuck has grown up to be a beautiful, big (~13 pounds), healthy, indoor-outdoor cat. He is a total sweetheart, completely calm while being roughly handled by small children. He loves to cuddle, and loves to sleep snuggled up to you. He's happy, playful, and quiet. He is also a major mouser, with a killer hunting instinct for any rodents that come into the house. He is about 4.5 years old.

Unfortunately, my friend's daughter has developed severe cat allergies, and so we need to find Sunnybuck a new home. He is in Belmont (about 15 or 20 miles South of San Francisco).

I would take him, myself, but, due to my job (nature photographer), I go on frequent, long trips, so my lifestyle is too unstable for giving him a good home.

If you want to provide him with a loving home, or know somebody who can, please call me: (831) 325-6917

Look at this picture! See how easygoing he is, when small children place toys on him?

Thank you for your consideration.

Judging from the lid, the cat is obviously a pot head. :D

Looks like a cool cat. Unfortunately my dog wouldn't be able to accept him. Best of luck.

Shoot, I'm right nearby and we would love to have a second cat. Unfortunately the terms of engagement with our current cat make don't allow for that. Good luck finding a home for what looks like a very cool animal.

Hey, 831. You from Santa Cruz too? I wish I could take your cat in, but I already got a cat that's got issues. I seriously think he may be mentally retarded. His face is unique, doesn't know how to retract his claws, and is constantly falling over as soon as he sees feet cause he wants a belly rub. Very strange cat.

Too far away and one spoiled cat already in the house--that's all the excuses I have. Good luck on finding an obviously fine-feline a home.
