Silicone handle treatment?

Hogs---Did I read here, that silicone can be used to bring-out the handle material? Thanks.

temporarily, yes.

do you mean the grains in the material? you could try a silicon cloth like those used for firearms.

i use mineral oil.

I dont know how to forward a post over to you, but check out "whats the best oil to use on Micarta"? posted on 4/19 by fbusmc. I used a silicone shoe sponge (new one) and got some nice results. I enclosed some photos. TAC

Bill, posted on M,T,& E, and told me to use Paste Wax. Has anyone tried that with their handles on their Busses?
