The nata isn't a machete, its a Japanese hatchet. There are a lot of different styles and sizes.I guess I'm trying to save a few bucks. Is there a worthy competitor to the Silky Nata 'machete' in quality but less money? My use will be batoning for fire wood. Thanks
Consider a Rinaldi Giustina-pattern manaresso. They're traditionally used for that task, among general wood chopping tasks.I guess I'm trying to save a few bucks. Is there a worthy competitor to the Silky Nata 'machete' in quality but less money? My use will be batoning for fire wood. Thanks
Looking at their lineup none of them look like they would perform similarly to a nata. Not for batoning, not for other chopping/camp purposes.A friend suggested perhaps an Odenwolf brand. Any experience?
