Silky Nata Hatchet Question

Hello,

Could someone with experience please help me with what angle a Silky Nata should be sharpened? It's the double edge version not the single. I would really appreciate it.

Wondering if a few passes on the sharpmaker at 40 degrees would suffice?

Thank you. I started already at 20 degrees but I hope it's not too late to undo any damage

It's not gonna' damage it, it just won't cut as well with a thicker edge, and 15° per side is still plenty strong.
